YouTube - SARASOTA FLORIDA CRIME HIGHEST IN AMERICA

A high crime rate is one indicator of an uneducated populace!

Also Florida is tied with a few other states for the SECOND highest High School dropout rate in the NATION at 41% only Georgia has a higher rate...... PENNSYLVANIA has a HIGH SCHOOL dropout rate of 18%......

After reading your posts I now tend to agree with the thread title........For I see no links to support your opinions (and I assume, by celebrities, you are referring to the likes of Jerry Springer.....LOL)........just more rhetoric. Statistics don't lie!

he is not the only celebrity there---the area abounds with novelists, cartoonists, pro sports persons, retired gov officials------i could go on--i feel if you are so unhappy with the area you should move---the location of your residence may have something to do with your feeling of insecurity--i was a resident in your area over 30 some years and the crime in pittston far outweighs it and i am wondering why you choose to live in an area you dislike---come back to pittston so you can enjoy its beauty and safety---btw gay intolerance abounds here

Statistics are frequently manipulated ask any statician up the road at USF

Colleges do not equate to education.

An institution for bestowing credentials is not synonymous with education. And the assumption that folks who lack credentials are "less educated" than those with credentials is not warranted.

I think that NEPA is no worse, nor better educated than most of the USA. Ditto for the level of corruption and bribery rampant in American politics.
(Yes, bribery - as in "pork barrel" projects, abuse of the taxpayer, and back door dealing.)
