these are small but especially tasty Mussels that washed off the jetties last night and drifted into our fishing zone...their beards are especially light and delicate..unlike the larger mussels that cling to the bulkheads and piers and might have a distinct flavor of funk and engine oil.

Tomorrows Appetizer maybe..., sauteed in olive oil, garlic, some dry white wine, cilantro or Italian parsley, and a chunk of 'Eyetalian' bread for sopping purposes.

Why not on the half shell, iced, with drawned butter and cocktail sauce?

Oh my gosh. I couldn't believe the skinny teenager sang that song. OK, he was probably 22 or something. Same difference.

)

then there is ten minutes of 'airdown' to 15 psi...throwing the Jeep into 4 wheel, cruising the beach, reading the water, finding a good hole..

I'm busy hammering in the sand spikes, while my wife unloads the beach chairs, lines are baited, casted in..
Thermos comes out..second cup of coffee, ..

the world becomes a beautiful place..relaxing...binoculars out, looking for Dolphins..checking the names of the Charter and Party boats out on the Main.. todays lunch was Capicola with vinegar peppers on a 1/2 torpedo roll.( known to we Trentonians as a 'baby guinea roll')

haha.
some Wise Potato chips and a cold bottle of Stewarts Birch Beer..

Got 2 nice Blues today...8 and 11 lbs..put them back into the ocean...could tell you about the big Blue that tore into the line baited with clam for stripers( no wire leader) and ripped its teeth through the 40 lb. test line like it was 'buttah'..
but that would be a fish story...

Still no crowds like you said, on the drive in areas..walk in crowds were hitting the 2 bathing beaches..

Left at 2:30...long lines already backing up 70 coming in, ..

Hey Jim..that BMW Z4 is still 'gracing' the lot on 'N' Motors on Keyser Street in Scranton..no price drops. thanks for the offer to check it out for me..

My new focus is Porsche Boxster Base, low miles, one owner, ..there is a place in Easton that has a few...
meanwhile, still keeping up the 330.. tune up, oil change, ,and OEM headlight replacement lenses.

Oh, we caught some fish. That's always a good day. I remember pulling puffers out of the bay and my dad apologizing because we hadn't caught any "real" fish. Those little puffers were tasty. I helped dad clean them, a requirement, and mom cooked them for me. I learned the joy of catching fish when my age was still a single digit.

I didn't start to garden until I was 12. Look, look! We have peas! There's a tomato! It's turning red! LOL

Thank you! I thought that was it. My son asked, "People eat cold eggs?" Well, nothing is cold when it's 85 degrees. Maybe the beer in the cooler, but that's it.

I know someone who says they know Nunzi pretty well, and he's OK. Let me know if you still care
