Damn newfangled gadgets.

Couple of years ago I was talking to an old friend. He complained about his new phone. When the old one died, his son told him which new phone he wanted. "I don't want a computer in my pocket. I just want a phone!"

I'm going to send the song to someone later today. Marilyn? The Beatles? is there anything else?

That's all I want/need is a phone for calls and text BUT the new one reads the text messages to me.

I'd forgotten that MTV didn't launch until 1981. Do you remember Nina Blackwood? She was hot.
of course..Nina was a definite Hottie!

An ex- girlfriend of mine was an acquaintance..she said Nina had a nervous facial tic that covered by shaking her shag hairdo when the tic was starting..

I never picked up on it.....but watching some old MTV reruns I did start to see what she was alluding to..some days were better for the lovely Nina than others.

Still, MTV..how cool was that?

She noticeably shook her hair a lot.

MTV was cool. Music videos...imagine that. Did you watch the first show?
