yesterday was the 80th anniversary of the Hindenburg disaster..I attended a ceremony there yesterdy evening..my NJNMJC Naval Guards Battalion class graduated there...so there were a few of us present.
Remember that newscaster practically hysterical, when it it exploded... calling out 'Oh the humanity!' ?

when I got home I told my daughter, the 'Ice Princess' where I went and she sent me this;

A...bwa ha ha! That's very clever. I'm aware of the anniversary. I posted on the New Jersey board. There aren't a lot of responses.

So, you've really been there before. I went on the big tour 15 years ago. I thought it was 13, but it was a notable anniversary and must have been the 65th. My husband, the kid and I went a couple of years later.

I really didn't comprehend how big it was until I saw the hangar.

not to worry if you are on a NJ beach..we come in all shapes and sizes...some of us aren't pretty but we enjoy ourselves....
