Our favorite bakery is Sanitary Bakery in Nanticoke. Great stuff and you can't beat the prices!

Oh, that brings back memories. My grandmother's sister lived in Nanticoke. Mom, dad and I would take her there to visit. We'd stop at the bakery on the way in or out. Not that we needed to because there were two bakeries in the Heights section of W-B at the time: Kornblatt and Keystate. We still went down to Old River Road once in a while for this or that.

LOL I've never been to Sanitary Bakery but that name makes me giggle. Shouldn't they all be Sanitary?

Almost like the "Fresh Meat" advertised on Chick Diner's menu.

I used to like Bakery Delite in Plains.

LOL Everyone laughs at the name. It was originally called Navy Sliced Bread. Exciting, isn't it? An older relative told me that using the name "Sanitary" set the bakery apart from other commonplace bakeries of the time.

Let them pay the fuel bill! That gives a better appreciation for the finer things in life.

You could tell your wife that, if she wanted to get warm, she has to snuggle more.

Have your daughters chop wood for heat. Wood warms in more than one way. Give them a good 16 pound monster maul to split the wood. They will be running around in T-shirts at 5 above!

Just a few suggestions that did not work on my wife!

I refuse to turn on the heat until at least Oct. According to the Weather Channel we are supposed to have a warmer than average Fall/Early Winter, so that's some good news at least:
