Utility Questions for Mountain Top (utilities, zip code, residential)

Hi Fellow NEPAs in the Mountain Top area,

I have a few questions about utilities and other service providers in the Mountain Top area please see below.

Which companies provide these services to the Mountain Top area - also contact phone numbers for these companies will be appreciated if available:


1. High Speed Cable and DSL Internet companies?
2. Electricity companies?
3. Gas (Residential) companies?
4. Water companies?
5. Telephone (Landline or VOIP)?
6. Trash and Recycle Removal companies?
7. Satellite or Cable TV companies?


All responses will be appreciated - I tried calling Time Warner and Adelphia for high speed internet and when I give them the zip code they say "YES" we service that area but once I give them the full address including city then they are like "sorry we do not service that area"

This is so frustrating because nobody in these companies can point you in the right direction hence my reason for posting here ... since I know there are some fellow Mountain Toppers (if am allowed to use that word) who have had first hand experience with some or all of these companies and can point out the good companies and the worst ones to avoid.
