The Y is good. So is the Odyssey. Both have lots of machines, classes and good operating hours.

Danko's on River Street, huge variety of machines and most of the trainers aren't about the money and they enjoy their jobs. It's a friendly atmosphere with classes going on all the time and reasonable hours.

Planet Fitness is in Edwardsville. It's cheap and in an easily accessible location for most.

This is one fattening state ..or Commonwealth...or what have you. Instead of thinking about shorts and bathing suits, the other day I began thinking that Farmer's Market time was coming soon!
And I wasn't thinking veggies - I was thinking about nut rolls, Welsh cookies, snicker doodles and potato pancakes!
This is NOT good! I am thinking of season's of the year in terms of FOOD!

I need a gym that is several notches above Planet Fitness. They don't even notice you there.
It is a good price but when I don't go, I don't feel that guilty...still it's better than nothing.

Perhaps I should drive up to The Training Institute in NY and have one of those nasty stick thin double zeros take my measurements while wrinkling their noses and asking "what happened to you?" as though I'd grown a hand out of the top of my head....hmmm...

NAH - I'll go to Planet Fitness. At least they don't have a vested interest in me.

When I did go to a gym, I liked Planet Fitness because I can kind of blend in and do my own thing. I didn't want classes or trainers or anything, and I don't want to be surrounded by muscleheads. The price doesn't hurt either.
