Default Brackney, PA

Hi all,

I grew up in Brackney, PA... small town about an hour out of Scranton. It's quite close to the NY border and since Brackney is so small we always worked in NY and did our shopping there.

Anyway, I was curious if anyone has heard of it? It's such a small town and I haven't seen any posts on it...

I'm currently in Chicago but get nostalgic for my hometown from time to time and would love to hear any thoughts on the area if you've been there!

I have heard of Brackney, but I've never been there. I'm a budding photographer, and I've captured thousands of images of various parts of the area, from rolling rural mountains in Autumn to the hustle and bustle of thriving Downtown Scranton at midday. Susquehanna County truly is a beautiful treasure in NEPA, and my photo tour of Montrose proves that. I can't wait snap more images of that county, and I could most certainly make a stop in Brackney if you think it would be worth my while.

Brackney in the fall is the best time. Houses are usually set back a bit from the road and trees build a canopy over the road. It is very beautiful and is only about 20 minutes from Montrose (that's where us Brackney kids went to high school). Take some dirt roads... there is always beautiful scenery there.
