only local and minor channels, no cable channel of cuz... but hey, it is FREE

so like 3.1 3.2 10.1 10.2 10.3 16.1 16.2 16.3 and so on...

well not free but one time cost of $80 for the antenna. It is military grade. online only, local best buy will get you a piece of cr-p.

I actually had the AT&T 3G unlimited grandfathered contract till I cancel it a few days ago, switching to new 4G mobile internet unlimited.

However 4G unlimited does not include 3G unlimited, it only include 5Gig of data for 3G... so for weekend use, fine.... but for the weeks I am up there, I will need 3G unlimited since pocono has no 4G signal.

I hope this virgin card will have cover my area... let me find out. =)

They say it's unlimited, but having limited knowledge about wif-fi, I'm sure you won't want to use it for heavy tasks, like continuous TV or running a server. You can take it anywhere there is a power source, not just one spot.

MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot | Virgin Mobile

Then it's $40 a month with no contract, for unlimited internet, you can just pay by the month, and start/stop it at will if you go out of town. It's a "data-only" plan, and you don't have to have a cell phone account with them to get it, AFAIK.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS INTERNET SERVICE ONLY

We contacted Blue Ridge and here are the information, for others who may be interested:

1. They have seasonal contract... it is, of cuz, at the premium price, and I do not blame them for it. at lowest speed (good enough to do basic surfing, even netflix streaming) 1.5 mb/s, it is $44.95 per month.

2. you can deactivate it at ANY TIME. NO COST.

3. you must re-activate it within 6 months of the deactivate day for at least one month... and there is a re-activation fee of $22.95.

4. Installation is FREE, you will have to buy your own cable box for like $59.99 for the seasonal option.

So for the months you use the house more often, get it for july-september. cancel it then may be december for the holiday, then cancal it for next july.

Total cost 44.95x3 + 22.95 + 44.95 = about $200 per year. not bad for 4 months of TEMPORARY internet. it is almost the same cost as the virgin mobile... and it is faster (depending on where you are in the pocono)... but cable is usually more stable than cellular connection.

Oh may I add, if you have this internet... there is no need for cable TV... for TV you can either use the antenna DB8 option I discussed, or you can STREAM your cable TV from your home over the internet to your machine in pocono. It is free..... do not even need a box... check out orb.com (sorry getting a little technical now). so it is really not a bad deal if you have cable at home to stream the TV, movie, music over the net to your weekend home :P

anyway PM me if you need information to set this up. I do not work for any company just want to help people out. let me know.
