Default Leaving for Vacation

I just thought I'd let everyone know that I'll be leaving for my Cincinatti vacation tomorrow morning around 7 AM and won't be returning until Monday evening. I just wanted to give y'all a bit of a warning in case I'm flooded with inquiries during that time. Adieu, NEPA, until the 16th! It's hard to believe that I'm still going through with my 12-hour drive in the morning when I have yet to pack, have strept throat, and my trusty Ford Contour is sitting in the repair shop! It seems like God was just trying to tell me to "stay away!" LOL!

Yes Paul. I would like to echo my friend Rich's sentiments. Have a safe trip. I told Rich about all the fun times we have at council meetings watching people self-destruct. We will formally introduce ourselves at the next council meeting you can attend. Until then be safe and enjoy Cincinatti. Take care.

I think he lives with his parents, and I seem to remember his dad keeps a load Uzi near him at all times.

HA! Actually that would be a rifle, but close enough. I'm sitting here this morning checking out City-Data while I wait for all of my "sleeping beauty" friends to wake up! LOL! We have a great day planned scoping out downtown. It's pouring down rain right now, but I just checked the local radar, and it looks like a nice dry slot will be working its way in just in time for when we hit the streets.

hey have a good time. Ohio can be a pretty boring drive in the rural areas, but there's some nice cities and towns there. If you want to check out a nice small city on the way home with a historic busy downtown, check out Chillicothe, its about and hour and a half east of Cinicinnati and about 40 minutes directly south of Columbus. I stayed there one time, its kind of a Bloomsburg or Lewisburg kind of town, with a lot of historic buildings and small shops downtown.

Will you be doing a Cincinnati photo tour?

Chillicothe and Buckeye lake is where my dads family is from. There is a Hubbard Elemnetary on Hubbard Ave in Columbus where my dads parents lived and he attended school during the depression. There is also a bar in South Bloomfield called Shifties that is interesting.
