New Dept. heads appointments-Scranton (Parker: appointed, inspection, salaries)

So Jeff Brazil is leaving Parks and Recreation for Dept. of Public Works, the position George Parker is vacating. Mark Dougher is taking over Parks and Rec from Brazil. Renda is taking over Bill Fiorini's job at Licensing, Inspection and Permits. I think i got it right. If not Daniel can help out. Just pointing this out so people in the city know about appointments within the administration. Are these people qualified to do their jobs or just hired cronies of the mayor?

I was just listening to Steve Corbert on WILK and he was talking about Jeff Brazil's appointment. He said when someone is appointed to a position, their qualifications and resume should be public record. I agree. He said he called Lisa Moran, the human resources director of Scranton, and she told him they do not have to be made public. How are we as citizens, supposed to know if these people are qualified for a position if we don't see qualifications. After all, the taxpayers are indirectly paying their salaries. They don't want us to know beacuse the mayor hires these people because they're his buddies. But it is the citizens who suffer when they don't do their jobs correctly because they're in over their heads. Dan has already pointed out how not qualified Lisa Moran is in her position and it wouldn't surprise me about Jeff Brazil either. He went from Parks and Rec to DPW. How did he magically get the credentials to go from this position to his current position?
