Looks like I'm the official rep. for Carbon County. Woo hoo!! We are in a weird position too -- some people say we are Lehigh Valley, some say we are NEPA. Personally I think we're more like Brigadoon: no one has any idea how to find us until they accidentally stumble upon us.

My wife and I have lived in W-B since June, she's a southerner (I met her when in NC) and won't want to go out to meet anyone, but I'd do a meet and greet with anyone if it fits in my schedule, as a group or individually. Grew up in NJ, lived all over the country in my 20's-30's (NJ, CA, MA, NY, FL, OR, LA, GA, NC, PA), now in my 50's. Politics: liberal, respect anyone's ideas or persuasions if they cause no harm. Religion: not dogmatic but I like Zen (Buddhism) and talk philosophy & science, baptized a Lutheran at birth. Ethnicity: German, my family settled in Queens in the 20's as immigrants. Hobbies: photography, ham radio, local history, trains, electronics, computer programming, etc. Have done: farming, driven tractors, gun owner, built houses, roofing, electrical, cut firewood, etc. Now in the "city" of W-B for better or worse, basically downsized for retirement in the coming years.
