Has anyone visited/toured the residence? Is it worth the time to drive to see it? Thanks!

Besides the Grey Mansion & property, the entire area is a picture postcard.

IMO - definitely worth a drive - on a nice sunny winter day would be perfect.

Been there a couple of times....very interesting tour, especially if you're interested in the conservation movement. And as noted, the grounds are beautiful. Afterward, grab a burger at the Milford diner then poke around in the book store across the street. Makes for a nice day.

Thanks VB and yorick. I think I read that tours resume in the spring, so that will be on my list when my husband decides to go for one of his "Sunday" drives.

Check the Web site
Grey Towers Heritage Association - Milford, Pennsylvania

There are tours inside, but not always. The tour is worth it.

You already have this on your list, but just wanted to concur: my husband & I went there... they did have a scheduled tour in a relatively short time. It was worth it! I learned a few interesting tidbits too. V nice grounds.
