Second time there and we were not disappointed. We had Lime Tilapia and Egg plant Rollatini. Servious was friendly and prompt. They had a juke box so we were able to here The Doors, REM,The Cure and David Bowie!

Nice atmosphere and I am thinking of having my daughter's Sweet Sixteen there.

After that silly post, (no not mine) I am still wondering if anyone has dined at Cork. They seem to be a very locally conscious neighborhood restaurant, holding fund raisers for animal shelters and the like.
Someone must have been there! If not give it a try!

Perhaps no one on this board has dined there and sees no point in saying, "I've never been there."

Some posts simply don't require a reply if one has nothing pertinent to contribute.

As for me, I've never been there.

I'm glad to hear you had such a positive dining experience at Cork, Sheena! A business professor of mine at King's used to frequent the establishment at least once per week and always recommended it to us as well. Sadly I never got around to taking anyone there before I moved out of the area, but I would love to try it the next time I'm in town (along with possibly FINALLY taking you up on your offer and meeting you in person!)

Some of my favorite restaurants in the area included:

Smiler's in Dickson City: A cozy neighborhood bar atmosphere with a surprisingly extensinve (and affordable) menu. If I remember correctly they have this very good buffalo chicken wing fondue served in hollowed-out bread that I always got as an appetizer.

Tony's Pizzeria in Jenkins Township: I grew up in Jenkins Township and loved the pizza there. My parents usually ordered it every other Friday for us as a treat.

Savo's in Pittston Township: I don't much care for their pizza, but I did love their "Sloppy Melvin" (buffalo chicken sandwich smothered in chunky bleu cheese) and their "bogies" (ground beef smothered in cheese on bread).
