My only problem now is finding out more about Robinhood Village and Reeders. There's no website for Robinhood and City-Data doesn't include Reeders in their database. Good grief, that probably means I'll actually have to use some other source besides the internet to gather info. Hope I can remember how to do that.

Thanks again.
It is called Robinwood Village, actually located on Rt 715 in McMichaels,Pa, Chestnuthill Township; but the mailing address is Saylorsburg, Pa. a little
confusing. There is one townhome for sale which is a one floor unit with a deck overlooking Rt. 715 and the mountains. A great view. Try goggle and type in Robinwood Village Townhomes, Saylorsburg, Pa. Hope this helps. Bethlehem is about a 40 minute ride from here.

Actually this came up today from a very old, old, posting.......So I am sure the grandparents found something by now.
I have learned though that Robinwood Village can be very expensive. There is the taxes of Monroe plus the HOA.......I saw on one sale awhile back that each were about 4,000........So that is 8,000 per year to live in
that particular unit/home. Kinda costly.
I think that Labar Village in Stroudsburg is less then that. ( Labar is a 55+)

Maybe SWB would know of more, but off hand that is all I can think of besides one or two down by Easton, which is not where you wanted to be.
we looked into golden oaks before we chose the area we are in. it was nice however its also as far as i can tell mostly un-sold and unfinished. im not sure but i think those poor folks are still waiting years for some of the amenities they were promised like a pool.

they would call us regularly offering us new deals as far back as 3 years ago . as far as i can see on their little map the place is mostly still unsold

55+ Active Adult, Age Restricted & Active Lifestyle Communities PA Pennsylvania
I know this is an old thread..........But anyone looking for 55+ in PA should try this site with many places listed. Not too many in NEPA but in the general area.
For local.........Labar Village is a good bet in Stroudsburg.
There is a new one in Marshalls Creek on the old Mozers Farmstead........The monthly costs someone was mentioning were quite high for the area.
