I've been going to Cinemark for years. Love their theater. I recently just saw my first movie at the new Great Escape theater in Dickson City. It's not as big as Cinemark, but I thought the theater was nice. The last movie I saw at Marquee in Scranton was the Blair Witch Project, so needless to say, I don't remember much about the theater. And I have never seen a movie at Movies 14 in WB, so I can't really comment on it. Wondering which theater you all prefer?

Glad to be a new member of the forums!

1-Becky's Drive in (is that NEPA or LV?)
2-Garden Drive in

Indoor I like Marquee because it is cheaper, but for sound and video, I think Cinemark is best.

Haven't been to Great Escape yet.

My all time favorite theater is Shankweilers Drive in, but it isn't in the area.

I go to Great Escape. I would love to patronize a Scranton business and go to the Marquee Cinema, but, both me and my wife carry firearms for protection of our family and ourselves, and since they have posted "Firearms Prohibited" in their entrance doors, I'll take my family and my money elsewhere. OTOH, criminals probably don't care about the warning on the door.

The Circle drive in in Dickson City. When I walked in doors, I was back in the Patchogue drive in of my childhood! We had a playground with boats in real water, it was awesome! My lil man loves the drive in!!!

Try the Casino Theater near Mt Pocono. Its an old time soda shoppe and game room and two small theaters in back. You can even order food and they deliver it to your seat as you watch the movie. A great experience for the kids.
Casino Theatre Entertainment Center

Cinemark is my favorite....the Great Escape is nice too. The Marquee? You'd need a tetanus shot after going into that place...I haven't been there in 4 or 5 years, and it was dirty then....which is bad considering the place isn't all that old....its probably been less than 10 years since it was completely renovated. Hopefully a more reputable company will buy the place and actually maintain it, or they might as well close the doors now.

Agree, with the Marquee, we went once after moving here, never again till it gets cleaner!

We saw Rango(which sucked) there on Saturday, and it seemed clean to us. It isn't close to being as nice as Cinemark, but didn't think it was dirty or that we needed a tetanus shot after going there.

Have either(bloom or phillies) of you been there since the fire? maybe they remodeled? We were never there before the fire.
