Default What ever happened to the Honesdale Flea Market?

Is it closed? What other options are there beside Marshall's Creek and Scranton?

Hi,

if you mean the farmer's market on Commercial Street, it opened Saturday, May 21, according to a story I read online.

If you mean the flea market that was being held at the fairgrounds, it is gone. I thought it was a great idea but the first summer they tried it it seemed to rain every weekend. When there was good weather, there just did not seem to be a lot of shoppers there. It was kind of empty. I would guess that is why they discontinued it.

There's Sugarman's, on the Scranton Carbondale Highway near Burlington! It's an indoor flea market, but that's where I go for my flea market "fix"

Also, there's one in the Drive In Movie Theater in Dickson City I believe.

Good luck!
