How come both pizza threads have been resurrected? I'm not going to say a word about Old Forge pizza........ I'm remembering the old saying "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Has anyone mentioned Napolitano's in Newfoundland? Hands down, this is the absolute best pizza I've ever had in my life, apart from the home made pizza I was treated to, hand prepared by an Italian immigrant.

I just figured out where this is. We have passed it many times but have never gone in, because it looked like someone just set up a restaurant in their house! Is it really good? I can walk there from my home in the Hideout.

It's on Main St. If you're going South on 507 from the Greentown area, it is in a storefront type building on the right.

DELICIOUS!

I also have to add - I was at Backdrafts in Lake Ariel last night (almost across the street from The Hideout entrance, used to be Amore or something like that) and the pizza was darn good. Kicked us out at 10:30 though which was annoying. Worse than when I lived home and had to be back home by 11. LOL

Oh but Backdrafts is mostly a bar, and it's one of the few places around where people can smoke. I had to take a half hour shower when I got home! So If you are not a smoker, I recommend take out.

I ate food from there 3 times. I had a meatball hero when we first moved in and it was very good. Their pizza is better than most around here but their calzone is tremendous and excellant.

We just started going to a pizzeria in Dixon City called Basillicos. They definately have the best pizza in this area. They are next to Dicks.
