Wow Go Phillies, it's people like you that make it difficult for NYers to get along with the PAers. I am from the NYC area, been here full time 7 years and am not one of those people at all. Like I said in this post 'to each his own', we aren't all arrogant at all. PA people definitely have an arrogance of their own as far as this being their turf. Cant we all just get along? Its just some dough and cheese, who cares what shape or flavor...

I did say not ALL NYers were like this. The pizza thing is not that important, I just saw it as yet another example where SOME NYers have a sense of superiority over PA natives, looking down at us as some sort of backwards hillbillies.

Unfortunately it is. However, I wouldn't quite mind if it fell off the face of the earth. Just imagine what that would do to help re-invigorate Downtown Scranton's core business district!

Dickson City is our own little slice of North Jersey here in Lackawanna County...strip mall and blacktop hell....very unattractive...a beautiful mountainside which is now cluttered up with malls and ugly big box stores. Although the actual residential part of Dickson City is like another world altogether and separated completely from Business Rt 6.

Know what you mean..guess that is progress to some! Do you remember a ways back when Bell Mountain driving range and mini golf was there. What a wonderful way to spend a summer's evening or tabogonning down it in the winter. Didn't mean to hijack this thread

We are still talking about pizza, right. I guess it is different strokes for different folks. I remember stopping off in OF to get a pizza on the way back to Throop from VA. I came back for opening day of trout with a couple of buddies. They raved about Ravello's for a long time. So yeah, it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but IMHO - you can get pizza that is greasy and floppy like NY style right here in any mall or strip mall in VA Beach. Not hard to make. Now NOONE has the OF style and you miss what you can't get.

^^Why don't you just snap out of it & make an effort to stick to the point, name your favorite pizza joint in NePA (not Brooklyn, Wantaugh, Merrick or the Bronx) and get past the '9 year old 'stuff...unless the above is the best thinking you can muster....the limit of your imagination and IQ.....LOL ahuylt, ahuylt

On the main drag in Frackville (Lehigh Ave), there is a small parlor called "The Pizza Place". Their pizza with sweet sauce is out of this world!I've never been able to find anything quite like it here in NJ.

Domino's makes crap pizza, that's why. I don't know how anyone eats that garbage. Although even worse than Domino's is Grotto Pizza. Pretty much any chain pizza place is garbage (although if its the only option, I can stomach Papa Johns over the other chains).
