Next month is the Bloomsburg Fair. I will be going just to get a few slices of 'Grotto' pizza.

Default Old Forge Pizza

There's nothing that even comes close to Old Forge pizza. Its been almost a decade since I had any, and now thanks to reading this I want to come out from Erie to get some. I was always partial to Augustines club seventeen for the red and Revillos for the white. There is however some good pizza in Erie. If you're ever out this way check out Papa Joe's on 8th. Its a traditional pie they serve, but the toppings are decidedly nonstandard and quite delicious.

Old Forge Pizza stinks.
And here I always thought it was because I was a little piglet who couldn't wait for the darn thing to cool down!!!!!

Talking Can't we all learn to love each other

Of course, all y'all could come to the vast pizza wasteland of NC and try the stuff called pizza here. I have finally found a place that is like I remember - the family is from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, so it's edible and enjoyable - AMEN! But no Maroni's :-(

I vote for Green Ridge Pizza on Boulevard Avenue. When I was a kid, my favorite was Buscarini's on the Corner of Beech and Crown. I wish they never retired!

I didn't know people had so much anomosity towards Dickson City. I go there all the time to shop and eat. I mean what else would be there if we didn't have the commerce that was there now. Granted, traffic there can be a nightmare at times, but they provide services there that a lot of people use. You can't stop progress.

People I know in the South (NC, GA) say that about the best pizza they can find is Papa John's (and they're NEPA natives so they know good pizza). I pity anyone who's best option is Papa John's!

I just don't understand how Old Forge can call themselves 'The Pizza Capital of the World' when they serve such inferior pizza.
