For those familiar just wondering where some other similar local neighborhoods are. Older, established neighborhoods with mostly tree lined streets, a nice stock of older well-maintained homes, some mansions here and there. I must have walked through the Hill Section, Green Ridge, Hollywood and West Scranton's Oram St/Cathedral Cemetery/Hyde Park area about a bazillion times so I'm looking for some other nice places to walk around and admire some nice old houses and whatnot. I've heard West Pittston has some streets like this by the river, and I believe I've heard Kingston, Forty Fort area is similar. Can anyone direct me to such areas? Thank you.

Wilkes-Barre's Historic district downtown is really old, and cool with alot of history. Check out The Stegmaier Mansion (they have a web site). It looks really neat. If you make it to Forty Fort check out The DennisonHouse, Swetland Homestead, Forty Fort meeting house, Wyoming Monument/ You'll see what the valley looked like when it was first settled during colonial times.
