Lake swimming in NE or SE Pennsylvania (Dallas, Leesport: rental, sick)

Does anyone know of any good lakes in north or southeast Pa where I can take my family to swim? I live in Bucks County, so any that are within 2 hrs driving distance.

We go to Beltzville Lake in Carbon County. Its website is here: Pennsylvania State Parks - Beltzville - PA DCNR
We swim there all the time - but on weekends it can get quite crowded and noisy. The lake sometimes closes if bacteria levels get too high - I've never gotten sick in years of going there, but just throwing it out in the interest of full disclosure. Extremely easy access - it's only a couple of miles off the NE Extension of the PA Turnpike.

There is also boating (rentals available), play equipment and cool fossils to find if you have kids, lots of area to walk/hike around the lake, etc.

Lake Jean at Ricketts Glen State Park is very nice. It's just west of Dallas, PA along Route 118.

Promised Land State Park in has a nice beach area. It is located off of I-84 near Greentown.

I think Promised Land is REALLY gorgeous (I only did not recommend it to the original poster because it may be a bit too far of a drive). My only problem is no sense of direction every time I hike there

Blue Marsh lake is great and is not far.
It is located near Leesport PA

Hickory Run State Park has a lake for swimming and picnicing.......
Just a beautiful area..........and you can cook on the grills ( bring your own in case they are taken)..........Nice tables in the shade.
Free.........peaceful and wonderful.
But, coming from Bucks..........Beltzville might be your closest and you can take the turnpike to near there.
