We were considering moving to NY - because we're retired and we like to gamble. We also love to fish. And we have been ticked off at the lack of disabled access to shorelines in PA.

That was last week.

This week we're realizing that NY is just too darn expensive to live - what with taxes and all. Also, we have been limiting ourselves to Lancaster county for fishing lakes and rivers.

So, since we're willing to relocate anywhere in PA, we need to know where these fishing holes are with good shoreline access. We are looking to buy a place (small) either with lake front or lake access; or it can be within a 30 minute drive to a lake (or whatever water is available).

We'd also like to be within an hour's drive to the nearest gambling establishment. I know there are no Indian casinos in PA, but we also know that casinos of some sort are planned.

And even though I mentioned gambling and fishing as our top priority, our REAL priority is good medical care. And not too far away from a good hospital with cardiac care.

We do not have an aversion to buying a manufactured home as long as we own the land under it. We do not have an aversion to living in the suburbs. We have the advantage of (1) being a first-time home buyer, (2) having VA home loan benefits, (3) of my husband having a service-connected disability which allows us to take advantage of PA's new law passed in 2006 for grants/loans for disabled vets, (4) we don't have any ankle-biters to worry about school and such.

We are not looking to move until June or September of next year. It depends on how well the search goes and the financing stuff.

Any information and/or pics would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.
