Best Northeast Diners
I guess you can tell, i'm big on food. I'm not fat either we just like eating out. I have a list of Lehigh Valley Diners, like City-View, Bear Swamp, Trivet, and Sunrise.
But how about good diners in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area?

Terry's Diner in Moosic has good food. Chicks and The Glider are favs in the city of Scranton. The Viewmont Diner on Rt.6 across from McDonald's isn't bad either. They have a good selection and are reasonably priced.

How's the Milford Diner in Milford?
I read some older reviews that weren't too favorable and am hoping it has improved.

I've heard about the Glider Diner, but have never been there. How is there breakfast? How are their homefries?

My wife & I eat at Milford dinner pretty often, it seems nice to us. Being from Long Island we like diners!

It seems as though I only respond to threads regarding food. As I sit in Philadelphia, watching the LSU game, enjoying a few silver bullets; I again come across a reminder of the quality of NEPA food. This being said, the Glider and Chick's are clutch to say the least. The food these diners provide their patrons is top quality...enjoy.

The Hart restaurant in Wilkes Barre has good food. They have gyros that are really good.

I second Terry's Diner in Moosic. The Hamlin Diner used to have a good breakfast buffet and good food. Has anyone eaten there since it was sold to new owners and how was it?

I used to clean the motel years ago and we were able to order lunch - a "perk"'. My favorite was the turkey sandwich and fries with gravy. That was a long time ago
