Does anyone know any places stores other then Mr. Z's to purchase food, clothing, any malls? I am from New JErsey and moving to Hemlock in October 07. Thanks

I prefer Honesdale much better. Milford is very New York Trendy, much different than it was in the 70's - too much growth

Ruth,

Mr Z is popular with the Hemlock Residents. I am more down by 2001 so I hit the Shoprite in Montague/Newton. Both of those places are too far. Forget about Grand Union in Milford. I know many people from the Hemlock area that do a big shopping in Scranton. You may want to check out the Shoprite in Montague down 84 when you have a chance.

Ruth,

Sorry, Malls in Scranton west on 84 or in Middletown NY. One thing about living here is that everything is a hike; so we plan well when we got out. There is nothing like going 17 miles just to get to a store.
