what are your thoughts???
I didn't see the show. It's on waaaayyyy past my bedtime.

My thoughts, however, probably wouldn't change. I'm not a Sned fan. I stopped watching the AM news on 16 quite some time ago because of his antics.

I've had more than my fill of both of them; when I go looking for weather information, I want the facts, in full detail, as quickly as possible. No cutesy stuff, no insulting sales pitches.

It's gotten so bad that even the Weather Channel is infected with a sales mentality ... directed toward convincing that over-sheltered suburban clientele that one more expensive gadget or service contract will guarantee happiness.

Forget those "gushers" and entertainers like Heather Tesch and Al Roker .... Give me Vivian Brown and the simple facts any time.

i agree---wonder why no one noticed that jimmy kimmel suggested that snedeker needs therapy(he's right)---and i think he was somewhat serious---it was a rant about the number of people at his job that he does not like

I don't care for Joe S. I think there is really something wrong with him, mentally. I don't like the nasty comments he makes about people and he's just plain annoying. I think he needs therapy too

yea something must be wrong with him spending all that time doing charity for Saint Josephs center, riding that bike around like a nut. And whats with all these people on tv who actually have a personality? why cant he fall in line and be like everyone else on this planet and say the pc things? /sarcasm

No offence, but i don't think you have posted one thing that i have agreed with ever! Are you the bizzaro version of me or something?

I have to say after coming from New Jersey and having all the stuffy news all done proper and in delightful form........Joe was a breath of fresh air.
I had watched news since an early age. Living near New York it was all very serious and conforming.
Then I moved to PA and watched Joe. It was really nice to have a laugh in the morning.
I thought it was crazy every time some Mom would complain about his wearing shorts during winter months. Hey, my own husband does that on a warm winter day. I mean if it is running high 60's or 70 so be it.
Finally a little giggle in the morning...I loved it.
I just love that he is his own person. He doesn't have to conform to everyones wishes. Joe is himself.
Some things are overly corny, over the top, way crazy.......but quite interesting and funny.
Now I have moved and I miss that......I miss the funny guy.
I think everyone ought to take him as a light hearted guy, full of fun in the morning, and relax a bit. Life is short. Watching the stiff shirted guy is kinda' boring.....it really is.

if he was funny i could understand it but he makes fun of others, complains about his coworkers, says unpleasant things about the women in his life and complains constantly.I do not find this funny in a 50 year old--his comments are negative mostly----humor needs to be positive to be enjoyable by all---again when a tv host from LA says someone needs therapy even in a tongue in cheek fashion, shouldn't the station listen???

People get a little worked up over a TV weatherman. There are more important things in life to worry about. If you don't like him, change the channel to WBRE. Or just get your forecast from the internet, no need to really watch the news for the weather report anymore.

Actually, you're correct. No need to get your knickers in a knot over weather reporting. They're wrong a good portion of the time anyway.
But the OP asked for thoughts on the Kimmel clip and some of us weighed in with our opinions. As usual, the Snedeker fans insist that their opinion is the only valid one.

Pretty much what happens with every thread here. Some find differing opinions offensive. I do notice that those who don't care much for Sned aren't quite as vociferous as his defenders.

I no longer watch WNEP in the morning.
