Researching vacation properties (Wall: houses, purchasing, price)

After reading the posts, my husband would like me to research other 4 season lake communities. (I had originally posted that we were interested in purchasing a property in Lake Naomi).

We have heard alot on this forum about Wallenpaupack Lake Estates and the Hideout. What about Big Bass Lake and Masthope?

We would like a place that has:

• Beaches
• Indoor and outdoor pool(s)
• Houses that are not close to each other and on wooded lots
• Kid friendly - with that I mean programs for the kids during the summertime
• Fishing
• Skiing nearby
• Ice Skating
• Community activities
• Here comes the hard part --- a quiet lake. Lake Naomi is great because as you relax on the beach, you don't hear boats or jet skis going by
• And of course, a SAFE environment
• Price range of up to $200K

I know that's alot to ask for but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, how can I find out what a lake community offers and things like dues/fees? Online websites don't seem to give you much info.

I have PM'd you with a bit of information.
I hope it helps with your search. There are still some wonderful communities around.
While looking at Towamensing Trails, you may want to drive 5 min. further to see Bear Creek. This is also a small community on a lake with no motors, except electric. There is about 3 beaches there. A pool also.........
Those communities are not far from skiiing, fishing, etc. and are reasonable.
Remember the further into the mountain ranges you go, the colder it is.
Lake Naomi still is a wonderful choice, in a great location.
