Once again, you both did a fabulous job on the pictures! Since my new boyfriend lives in Wayne County, I've been frequenting Honesdale more often, yet you still seem to have made the town appear fresh in my eyes. If there is still anyone in NEPA who has yet to visit Honesdale (hint, hint New2PA!), then you certainly must attend their upcoming Fall Harvest Festival; it's a wonderful time! My favorite part of Honesdale is probably Church Street---it's just so neat, in my eyes, to see roughly a half-dozen houses of worship in just a few blocks of the same street.

The next time y'all are in town you should check out some of the residential areas on the north side of town (over the bridge in the other direction from the Hotel Wayne). There are a lot of pretty Victorian homes to be seen there as well. Great job!

Paul, when is the Fall Harvest Festival? I always seem to hear about the fun stuff after it happens!

The Fall Harvest Festival runs on the weekend of October 6-7, 2007. Our family had a great time when we went last year, and we're planning a return visit this year as well. Honesdale has now trumped Jim Thorpe as being my parent's favorite small town getaway; I'm glad I turned them on to it!

I was hoping to introduce my dh to Honesdale this weekend. A few weekends ago I brought the boys there and went on that train etc. I loved it. Unfortunately he has to wait due to work commitments.

We hope to be there for the fall harvest festival which I hear is on Columbus day weekend. Any parking advice, times etc.

Thanks
dorothy
