How about it ? In a public park ... have some food , drink, conversation, maybe some fishing or a pick up game of softball or football ? Anyone game ? Tobyhanna state park is a perfect place .. maybe do a weekend camp out ... I'd like to meet some of you folks face to face .. If maybe we can get a dozen or so of us together it might be a fun day/weekend .. I'll donate burgers and all the sides for em and a drink and even do the cooking ..

Anyone wanna get together ? Lets talk dates ....... If there is no interest mods please delete the thread in 48 hrs

I'm not home right now, but I'm thinking about the logistics. Hope we get more responses.

I think that would be a fun idea! I would expect that not everyone would be free at the same time but it would be nice to meet everyone in person.

Thanks for the suggestion! My schedule is not easy to tie down but I don't live far from there so even if i could make it for a short time I think it would be great! Gouldsboro Park is another close by area.

First item to get set would be the date and then we can go from there...those who can't make it, can't make it...so it shouldn't be canceled unless only 5 people are gonna show up...10-15 at a minimum and River shouldn't be the only one to pony up for the eats & drinks...we all don't need to go overboard but at a minimum 1 item per person...that way we don't have excess left over afterwards...sound good so far??

Im open .. Id prefer middle to late summer . just so we better our chances of having good weather and if the lake is open to swimming it'll be warm enough ...

Mid to late summer sounds good...that way it isn't too hot either...if the damn weather would hurry up and change...I've been to Tobyhanna S.P. to take the dogs so I know where it is...swimming??...well let's just say I've seen better legs on a French piano as far as mine are concerned...

I'm in. A park cookout sounds good. A weekend campout might be a little overboard though.

I have yet to schedule any of my vacation time for this year, and I'd most certainly be interested! Me no do cooking (almost started a fire an hour ago when some pizza cheese got stuck to the burner in my toaster over), but I'd most certainly chip in a pretty penny towards buying some food!
