Yummy! I hope people will also include Festivals is Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas.
We went to the Peach Festival and enjoyed it greatly. ("Eat a Peach" - love that album)
Also the Garlic Festival in the Poconos.

Want to hit a Ukrainian Festival this summer. There is one in Scranton but I'm not sure at which church. Anyone?

I just saw an ad for a Beer festival at Sno Cove this weekend. Although it doesnt appear that it will be warm enough to enjoy the water park and beer festival.

I will be going to The Q and Chrome festival at Mohegan Sun. It's gonna be a big bbq and classic car/motorcycle event. I believe it's on June 16th maybe 17th also. I do not gamble hardly ever, but I am thrilled That Mohegan Sun continues to host large scale new events, the Oktoberfest is a smash hit, their summer concert series continues to grow...It is really becoming the premier entertainment and festival center of the entire region. Check on their webpage...they are featuring a whole host of summer events. I'm so glad too because the W-B area really needed something to fill the void, and it got more than it ever could have hoped for.

Yes, I can. And I can say spanakopita and kourambiedes, too! The ladies who make the foods at the festival every year should live forever.
