Bloomsburg Fair (better be open this year!)

All the cider and sugared fried heart attack on a stick you can eat! Also rides, games, and other attractions (midget horse or big snakes) for the kids. They tend to get some decent bands each year. Not usually my cup of tea but lots of people seem to enjoy them.

The Pa dept of agriculture puts out a yearly list of all the county fairs in the state. If you dig around the website you can find it.

Way too over priced for what you get. If you go on the rides, you can go to Dorney for the same price.

I can pay 8.00 to get in the Kutztown Fair, and it includes the rides. Yeah, it is probably half the size, but a quarter of the price.

Speaking of Kutztown.....the Kutztown Folk Festival is a must see.

Great list! Cedar Point is one place we are headed this year.

Knoebles? A no brainier. We must be the only NEPA residents to have not made it to Bloomsburg yet. We have a conflict each year. Want to give it a try.

Ditto on the West End Fair. I love it! Bloomsburg fair was a real disappointment. Mostly all food- over priced and not much really interesting there. Shows were good though. Saw Journey and loved it. My ex saw the tractor pulls and loved that, too.

West End Fair is in Broadheadsville which is somewhat near Kunkletown, but Kunkletown is pretty far out there
