Default Need a knee doctor recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good orthopedic surgeon specializing in the knee? I've already been to Scranton Orthopedic Specialists and feel like all the doctor did was placate me. I am looking for a second opinion. Thank you.

I like Dr. Harry Schmaltz of Scranton Orthopedic Specialists. He replaced both of my knees at the same time. I cannot say enough good things about him. He specializes in knee and hip replacements. Oh, and he listens to you too. I could not be happier with the results.

I usually ask my GP who he'd pick for his mother.

I went to Scranton Orthopedic Specialists in Dickson City. CMC in Scranton has a special unit for knee and hip replacement patients. I thought they were excellent. I was treated very well there.

I would post for a suggestion on the Allentown or Philly boards for a suggestion. If you have already been to a top group around here then a second opinion should probably come from a different region.
