Hey All,
We found two nice houses to choose from in Pittston. What can you tell me about the area? We have a 2 year old so we want to know what it is like for a family and get some ideas on activities that would be fun for a growing kid!
Any info would be great!
Thanks in advance!

I've lived in both Jenkins Township and Pittston Township, suburbs of Pittston, my entire life, so I'd be happy to help if you had any sorts of specific questions.

Default hey scranton

hey scranton,
thanks for your help. i read a lot of your posts and they are so helpful. i would love to just hear some basic stuff about the area. is it the kind of place that you can leave your doors unlocked and feel safe? are there mostly families who live in the area...? what is there to do with kids in the area...? anything that you can think of would be great!
thanks!

I was down there the other day. The people seemed friendly enough...it's just that there wasn't really a there there, you know?
One thing for sure. The guys down at the bus garage know their business.

West Pittston, in my opinion, is the nicest community in the entire Greater Pittston region.
