There are some pretty decent companies around here but the biggest question is what is your background and line of work you're looking for?

I would try a head hunter. I do not know where you are located, but generally jobs here are tough depending on what it is that you do. Much matters if you possess a degree as well. If you need anything further just email me.

Try some of the resorts
Two of the best resorts to work for are Skytop Lodge and The Fernwood Hotel and Resort. I would try those first if you want to work in the resort industry.

I think that the Great Wolf lodge is a nice place for someone to work also.
I don't know the posters field.
Many stores will have a hiring now for the holidays.
PA is not noted for "well paying" jobs.
I know that BAE in Binghamton, NY will be looking for workers due to a new contract. Good Luck!
( just over the border of PA)

how about meadow run mountain lake in the bear creek township area. we have been renting in this area the last few years on vacation and we love it. it seems the quality of life here is pretty good. the lake is beautiful. what do you think about moving to this area when i retire in 3 years from NYCTransit.

its very tough finding anything decent paying ... no matter what the business when your competition is mom and pop stores you really dont have to or can you pay much...
we are pulling the plug and retiring early a year from january and becoming full time nepa bums.
although we would still like to do something in nepa we are pretty much resigned to the fact that whatever it is we better like what we are doing because it certainly wont be for the money..
we would have moved already from queens except salarys are to far below the difference in cost of living for us ...
believe it or not there wasnt a huge difference in the cost of living for us in nepa.

Where do you live ?
Do you have transportation?
Do you have any skills ?
Any training ?
all those things come into play .
Can you waitress, cocktail server, Mount Airy maybe .
Do you like kids and have a clean record ? Maybe child care or babysitter.
Can you dance do you look ok ? There are male and female stripper poles everywhere..
Can you drive ? Drive a taxi , school bus ,
I think if you posted a little more info you may get a little direction..
Good luck in your search
All that for an old post . I have to train myself to look at dates first . LOL Good morning
