Looking for lakefront longterm rental (Harmony, Wall: for sale, rentals, price)

Help. I am looking for a long term rental on one of the Pocano lakes, Wallenpaupak, Ariel , Harmony, etc. All I can find are places for sale or for weekly rental. I am looking for a very small place. One br. on a lake front. The most important feature is a view. I am an freelance illustrator so I work at home. Something inexpensive. $600 -$800 a month. This may sound crazy, and I dont know if this is a place to post a question such as this but I thought I'd try. Any help would be great! Thank you!

You are going to be hard pressed to get a lakaefront for that price. I'm sure if you checked, you know you usually pay more than that for a weekly rental, probably $600. for a weekend.

My husband and I just went through finding a rental in NEPA. Many, many rentals are in poor shape. Unfortunately, even if you do find a monthly lakefront rental between $600-800 a month, it would probably be a dump.

Sorry I don't have better news, but good luck anyway! Perseverance (and luck) will probably be the only way you will find what you are looking for.

If you need a reputable agent, email me. The price range you are looking for is tough. I do not think you would get a decent place for that amount, now I could be wrong - especially near the Wallenpaupack. If you want a view like you say its going to cost bucks. Good luck.
