Apparantly, the sister in law who is on the show was offered a contract and Kate said no, then hired someone else to babysit the kids at the networks expense. and refused to have the sister in law have a contract, and be paid to be on the show. Others have also said there is something going on with taxes and tax evasion, and people are questioning why the husband does not work, and people in the beginning offered her clothes and she laughed in their faces and said my kids will never wear hand me downs. I like the show also but Kate seems strange and obsessive.
