Relocating to Wyomissing
Can anyone give me information about Wyomissing and the public schools there?
We are relocating and we can't decide between Wyomissing, West Lawn and Lititz. Any opinions.

The only thing I know about Wyomissing is that's where the Gosselin family lives (From Jon and Kate plus 8)

I would *definitely* go with Wyomissing....the Wilson School District is supposed to be one of the best school districts in Pennsylvania.....I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but Wyomissing is one of the most expensive areas to live in Berks County....it's very nice, tho, with a great school system and LOTS of shopping all over the place with several indoor and outdoor malls.....
West Lawn is not nearly as nice.....it's the next town over from Wyomissing.....it's an older type of town....a little run down looking to me....
I'm not too familiar with Lititz....was only there once about a year ago....it seems to be much more rural than the other two towns and it doesn't seem like there's a lot to do there....
But, if you're looking for a nice town with lots to do, great schools and great shopping, Wyomissing would be the place, however, like I said, it's expensive.....
Hope that helps....

Wyomissing is a very nice town and the schools are very good also. If you're considering Wyomissing you also may want to look at Shillington and Mohnton. They're east of Wyomissing and in the Governor Mifflin School District. They have an established suburban feel to them and the houses are not as expensive. All three towns have good shopping and roads. You can't go wrong looking in that area. Very nice places to live and work.

Only problem is that Wyomissing is not in Wilson SD - it is Wyomissing SD, which is an excellent SD, probably better than Wilson.

Wyomissing is very nice, but expensive. West Lawn not so much, but has nice areas. Sinking Spring is also decent. Anywhere in Berks County outside of the city is generally OK.
Lititz is a nice little town. It is in Lancaster County.
Are you looking to be convenient to any particular area?

Wilson School district West Lawn PA
Does anyone know where on the interenet you could go to find out information regarding the ratings of a school district?
From what I hear Wison is one of the better ones, but how is it rated in terms of the board of education?
And what makes it one of the better school districts?
Thanks

I think they live in Elizabethtown, but are suppose to be building some huge home in North Carolina? Lots of controversy surrounding donations made to them and the way they treat others including family.
