I guess it will be fun for people who like the show, I'll just be doing something else. I do remember the "All in the Family" episode you're referring to. When Edith wants to go to Scranton and Archie says "What is in Scranton?" and she replies back with "My cousin Emily". She would rather go to Scranton than to Disney World with Archie. Some funny stuff.

Me too. I love that stamp with Archie on it. All in the Family was such a funny, groundbreaking show. There will never be another show like it. Even though it's very 70's, it's still relevant today.

I love Archie too! I hated that Meathead though...
As ar as the whole "The office" thingy...I think it's neat, I'm not really into the show though. Just never watch it, nothing against it. It's a real shame that the Courthouse Square looks the way it does right now. It truly takes away from the beauty of the city.

You're right, I LOVE PA. The courthouse sqaure is a mess. They should have done this convention next spring when the courthouse is complete. It would of looked a whole lot better than it does now.

Kudos to the producers of the show trying to get it right with the props and local (to some extent: we don't have a hooters or chilis in scranton). But it is pretty neat to think about Michael's (stever Carell) mom living in Dickson City, a couple of the characters went to Bishop O'hara, all da U stuff, Coopers restaurant, the coal mine tour (Michael wanted to set a field trip there - asked if they played laser tag), lake scranton, Elmhurst Country Club, Dunmore High School, Crystal Club soda, Farley's, Alfredos, etc. Do a google search on "Lazy Scranton" to see the rap song they did...pretty funny. I watch it down here in VA and crack up everytime I see or hear a reference to NEPA...
