Claudia, It is really a nice coincidence, that you use to live in my hometown. I know the inga area very well, I used to go to a gym over there, Academia Paulo Menezes. I used to live in Fonseca.
My wife is Brazilian, she is also from Niterói.

Wow everybody knows everybody, and everyone even knew about the web cam???
Actually ,I had forgotten about the Web Cam and so thanks everyone for reminding me and puttting the link. Without the link, I take forever to find the right site..
I think finally I have wrapped the last present today!!! Hurray..........
Hummm....except for the bikes which have to come up here and I have a big bag for them and I just made two bows.......I am excited to see their faces.
Now the cooking of the Pies and Cookies starts, then the Ham, Chicken Franceise' and Swedish Meatballs ( can't help that the twins love, love, swedish meatballs).........
I will have my hands busy in the kitchen.
I hope the kids know that if they are bored ,or have nothing to do on Christmas, they can come over, and have something here.
But, I think most of them will be working, and the others into their own festivities.
Non the less, my door is always open.
Claudia and Alex, you have lost me on the names of those towns. Very unique names indeed.........( besides Rio, that is easy enough )

Summering, those names(Niterói,Inga..) they are really unique, even for us because they are not portuguese, they are indian names(native south american indians). We have something similar here in PA, cities with indian names like: Lake Wallenpaupack, Wyoming or the Lackawanna County.
Well, who ever is curious about Niterói city in Brazil, here goes a wikipedia link in English about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niter%C3%B3i .
..and for Claudia here goes a link about the Poconos, they even have a picture of the Camelback: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Poconos .

The bikes and the wagon were a HOOT to wrap. Good Golly.......
I did those this morning due to the impending cooking extravaganza.......
Do you think that they will be a big surprise? There is just no hiding the fact of what they are. Heaven knows I tried.
Yep, soon I will get in the kitchen, and then hardly be able to leave...
Kinda stalling here arn't I..........
Maybe I'll go ask Lifter for a job and just be in the fun ski area all day....
Oh better not.....then it will be hotdogs and beans!!~!

Hey Summering let me know if you need a job. I'm pretty well set with operators right now but who knows once schools back in session.
I made the Pocono Record today also on the front page of the C section. My mom wrote in about Christmas ornaments and memories. If you read the article you can guess that I'm the 'imp'. Thanks Mom.
The international workers I have are working out OK. Everyone is getting along just fine.

Alex, thanks a whole lot for the Wikipedia link on the Poconos - really interesting (Summering, Poconos is also an indian name - now I know the meaning)
I saw your neighbor's decoration! Really nice (and expensive!)
Liftie, I couldn't find the article you mentioned in the Pocono Record.
Ah! I talked with Line via e-mail and she said I can post the pictures (I thought I should ask her first since it will be public) so as soon as I get to my office (pictures are saved in the other computer) I'l post them.
Talked to my daughter on Friday and she was really happy since she had worked as a cashier at the restaurant/cafeteria (something similar). I advised her to be careful and not give wrong change since it's a position one must be responsible (moms always worry about their kids).

Oh yes, we have lots of indian names in this state.
I once lived in New Jersey at Indian Lake!! and..........Lake Arrowhead!
The island there was called Lenape Island ( for the indians)
Here we have many towns with indian names too.
Well, they were here first and then........Along came the Pilgrims!!!
