My God!!!! What a wonderful tree!!! I want Christmas NOW!!! Mom, we're going to your house right now, ok? LOL! I loved it!!!

And tks for explaning what is 'the ultimate'!! Now I understood!! Hope we can go to NY in New Year!!!

Mom, is this place to far from us? Mt. Pocono - Martz Express, Rte 611and Fork Street. I think is the closest terminal of Martz buses!

Yes, well..........HOHOHOHO...........I just sent Ise some other Christmas Photos' so request them from her. I can't hardly help it, I love Christmas and you all asking about it is making me excited to start decorations myself!!
By the way.........both of the bus stations will require you to take a taxi. Unless someone is going that way who works there in their car.
I think perhaps that the Mt Pocono bus station is closer to you then the Park and Ride in Stroudsburg, and the Delaware Water Gap terminal.
The Pocono bus stop is just heading up 611 North.
The Blakeslee is too far for you, at the McDonalds, by the turnpike........
( humm I just past that going up the turnpike to the end of it near Scranton)
Line, your question on Victorias Secret? I don't think there is one in the small Stroudsburg Mall. But they are at Rockaway Mall and Lehigh Mall I'm pretty sure of.
The Stroudsburg Mall has smaller versions of Penneys', Sears, Bon Tons, other small stores, book store, shoes, hallmark cards and gifts, some nice teen clothing stores.
And a food court also. You could walk to the big library from there. There is a Office Max across the street ( kind of set back behind Pizza Hut area)........
I hope this information helps. I want to get up there this week to take a few pictures.
Mom Summering...
Sure you all can come here anytime for festive Christmas............!!

I showed to my mom your tree and your wood Santa Claus, and she loved it! In my house our tree is really small but always with a lot of decoration!

Hey, I'm doing English classes, conversation...to practice and everything! And today I had a new teacher, and guess what? She lived in Pensylvannia for a long time! She said is the best, and she really like it! She said people are really nice! This I've already know!!!

Do you know what I'm doing right now? Do you know Google Earth? I decided to look for Tannersville and Camelback in this program!!! And I saw everything!!! I found Camelback, found the Outlet (really big, isn't it?)...I loved it!! Village at Camelback are that houses, a lot of them, just beside Camelback mountain? I think so...
And Tannersvill from Stroudsburg is just 10, 15 minutes, right?

Is easy to take a taxi there? Cause we'll need this! And is it expensive or not??

Gosh, I'm so excited!!!!

Lehigh Valley Mall Store Directory - Shopping, Lehigh Valley Retailers
This is a large, great Mall that is about an hour away..........great at Christmas time.
I use to have quite a big Christmas tree, when we had a home with a loft.
We would have to put a rope on it and have 3 men haul it up over the railings.

I love Google Earth..........Its so much fun!

Your times are right. I havn't used a taxi in this area. But, I can't imagine that it is too costly at all.

Did you say you have only fake trees in Brazil? They are making some nice ones now.
I saw a gorgeous one that was over 10 feet tall. In this home, unlike my other home, I'd have to cut a hole in the ceiling!!!!
We still have the family tradition of going to chop our own tree down. We are always searching for a new tree farm. Some are great, others........Ugh!!!
Now when I go for a tree, I have to tell myself to get smaller, thinner, and not too wide.
Anyhow, the lugging of those huge ones, was getting out of hand.!!! ( too much)
I'll send over one more large Mall to look at...........

Simon.com - Mall Directory
This is the Rockaway Mall directory. This Mall is one hour away also in New Jersey.
You can see it from the bus as you ride to Pa. It will be on the left just past Denville, in Rockaway.
I'll have to look up some taxi's and see if they will give me their rates, to the Stroudsburg Mall.

Woooooow! I just loved this malls!!!!! A lot of stores that we don't have here in Brazil and I've always dreamed to go!! I guess my salary won't last too much...LOL!
And do you know if it's easy to get to this malls? By local bus? Pony? Martz?

I got a little worried when I saw Camelback at Google Earth...pretty far for other things, isn't it? I think I'll by a bike! Or ask for ride all the time! LOL! Where is Mr Z? Next to the Outlets?

Did you find your tree this year? Or is still looking for? Send us a photo when you get it!

Default New Pictures coming

A new thread will be started, called Camel Back, Tannersville, and Bartonsville....
I will try to start today. I just loaded the pictures. But, the computer is working slow today.
YES, I was on top of Camelback Mt today. They close this area in the winter.
But now, it is gorgeous. I looked down on all the housing, roads, mountains, for hundreds of miles.........Ah, wonderful.
I was higher then the skiers go........Although you won't catch me doing anything but riding the car down, or walking!!! One bruise too many.
I found the milage to be about 2 1/2 miles from your housing location to 611.
It is about 1 1/2 mile to a little grocery item store, pizza, sushi, and the Barley Brewing Pub. Which is really cute, and is not bar like really.
I got some of the 611 shopping areas, Mr Z and even the PONY was driving around...........LOL
Doing this soon...........be on the lookout!!!
