Some other good places for kielbasa, that may ship it, are Bosak's in Olyphant, Kutsop's in Blakely, and Schiff's in Scranton.

Default Kielbasa

You should try the Park Market on the square in Nanticoke (570)735-2400.
Then there's Kaminsky's in Duryea. They won the kielbasa festival two years in a role. I tasted their's last summer for the first time and it beats anyone elses. I lost their card so I can't give you their number, maybe you can call information.
I'm sorry, but Hillshire Farms is not real kielbasa, I don't know what you can call it. You got to get some from the places I mentioned and
let your friends and neighbors taste what real kielbasa is. Good luck.

I grew up by Mahanoy City. Every year my family would get the holiday kielbasa from Kowalonek's Kielbasy Shop in Shenandoah PA. Their fresh 'basa is the best, I swear it!! They also make loaf which is equally as good! They have a website and you can even order it online. I live over an hour away now, and there is nothing even close to it around here.

Tried Smokin' Joes kielbasa, and it was very good! Reminded me very much of the kind I had as a child - then the butcher a block up the street from us made it himself, so it was really easy to come by!

Some of that is coming to my mom's for Christmas; my brother lives in NC and hasn't had good kielbasa for years!

Saw Schiff's on my way home last night - I'll have to try theirs next!

Cathy

Schiff's has very good quality meats. I always come out of there with way more than I planned on buying!
