We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy a movie there as we had reservations about the quality we might find in a smaller lower budget cinema. It was on par with Montage and we thought it beat out Regal in Dickson City which we didn't like. There is free parking off of main street so it's easy to go there and we plan to again.

We want to try a movie there that has DBOX. It sounds really cool for the right movie like maybe the next Star Wars. I bet the battle scenes in an environment like that will be awesome.

If you are in the Wilkes Barre area and want to check out a movie give it a shot, it's worth it.

You've lived in Wilkes-Barre for years and have never been to this theater? I agree. It is a great place!

Yeah, I hear ya Paul. We usually watch DVD new movies on our 60 inch TV with surround sound in the comfort of our own living room. A few times a year for a special occasion we would go to the theater but enjoyed making a day trip out of it. So we would hit shops along the way at Montage and then Dickson city and then go to our favorite Chinese place in Dickson City Teppanyaki for dinner. As a result we had never been to R/C.

Now having been there and liked it we plan to go there the next time we want to see a movie. It was just a matter of convenience that day and wanting to see a quick movie in the theater for a change and R/C lucked out making us converts.

We don't go to the movies often. Its so expensive. But when we do go to Movies 14 its always a pleasant experience. I'm glad you had a nice time!

Teppanyaki is really good too LOL
