Maybe SWB knows where I am talking about...it is probably about a couple of miles past blue ribbon dairy on the opposite side of the street. A little place with room for about 8 or so cars if that in their parking lots. I think they've been there for about 10 years. They overload you with the most amazing fresh bread before the meal too. I just left a message for my mom she will remember the name.
The resturant you are speaking of is Tony Stello's Goodfellos- I used to eat there often when I worked in radio... it is a super place- the owner does tend to everyone like the poster said. Food is amazing and service is great. It's a hidden treasure in West Pittston- they don't advertise at all- you just have to know it's there.

Tiffany's Tap & Grill in Eynon is the best restaurant in NEPA.

The food is great, service is better, and the place is beautiful.

Check out the reviews on Tripadvisor or see their website.

I'm very eagerly anticipating the opening of Bella Vino, a new Italian Steakhouse & Wine Bar (more than 2,000 selections in its huge wine cellar), along Highway 315 near Pittston in the former Trillo building. It is slated to open around Mother's Day, as evidenced by a nice article in today's Pittston Sunday Dispatch newspaper that profiled the transformation of that building from the original Mayfair Supper Club 80 years ago to what will now be Bella Vino as of next month. I'll report back with my own review of the place next month when it opens.

P.S. On a side note, Aufiere's, which closed several years ago to make way for Cafe Olivia, recently reopened in Downtown Pittston. The restaurant isn't "pretty" as far as the decor is concerned, but the food is amazing! Pittston is becoming quite the restaurant hot-spot as of late with all of these new openings. Anyone been to the new gay nightclub in town yet?

Leggio's (Rt. 315, close to the Woodlands) excellent Italian Food at very reasonable prices. In the summer you can dine outside on the deck. It's a casual restaraunt but the foods excellent.
