My husband and I just moved to milford from the Bronx. We have two small children ages 2&5 yrs old girls. It's a little difficult to adjust to the country from city life and my girls are bored at home. Does anyone know of activities I can enroll my girls into?

When we moved to the Lehigh Valley, many years ago, I made my first good friends at the library during the kids storytime. I looked up the Milford library https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pike-...840271?fref=ts and while I see they do have a summer reading program, you might have to venture further afield to a bigger library to find activities.

You could look on-line to see if there are any meet up groups that suit: Find your people - Meetup

For the girls, try to find a library playgroup. That was the easiest way for me to get out and socialize with my sons when they were little. Another thing to do? Find something YOU like to do and get involved. I've often found it easier to make friends with people who shared my interests rather than my parenting status, know what I mean?
