Congratulations to our State Police! It will be interesting to hear the details of how he dodged our police for so long. It will also be interest to hear why Frein went after the Blooming Grove State Police. I never expected them to get him alive.

Well..they finally did it and I gotta admit, my thinking was wrong...I thought he was far from the Poconos. I realize it cost millions but I commend them for capturing him. I thought with all the heavily wooded areas, looking for him was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

The irony is that for all the organized search, a couple of Federal Martials doing a routine check of an airport hanger found him. It seems like he offered himself up when they came into the building. Sort of the ultimate slap in the face to the other guys who had chased him for several weeks.

But maybe those details are not accurate. Time will tell.

Quoted from CNN:
'A U.S. Marshal's Service special operations team tracked Frein to the abandoned airport while it was in process of clearing the area, according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the capture.'

There are pros and cons to him being taken alive. But at least they got him.
