That's it! I agree, it is just nowhere near as good as Chipotle.

Yum, could go for a Burrito Bol with grilled chicken, black beans, guac and corn salsa with a squeeze of lime (I love that Chipotle has freshly sliced limes).

Years ago there used to be a White Castle on the Scranton Carbondale Highway between Carbondale and Eynon, I think. The last time I saw it occupied it was some kind of Chinese buffet - and now, it seems to have been empty for years and years....

I think my parents and I ate there once when I was a kid, and I didn't like it. I ate at a White Castle in St. Charles Missouri a couple of years ago and had the same creepy "I don't like this place" feeling, like you get when you go into a run down Arby's. LOL

Things to check at those chains before you eat? The bathroom and are they wearing gloves. Those kids that work at most of those places have not been taught food safety properly.

We had Chipotle in DC/MD. I really miss their crispy steak tacos with guacamole...yum! I wish one of those would come to my area.

That place you were thinking of was not a White Castle. It was called White House. I never ate there and don't even know what they served, but every time I passed by it, I got the same feeling you did about being creepy and run down. White Castle is the fast food joint famous for their little square burgers also known as "Belly Bombers".

Although nothing beats Taco Bandido on Main Ave for fast-food Mexican.

Conorsdad, I've never been to Taco Bandido. I pass by it a million times but never stopped in. Do they have the same selection as Taco Bell? Is the food better?
