I'll take some pictures up that way soon. I so want to capture what we are all talking about..........
Plus, I am dying to get into the Christmas Shoppes Store, as I have done in Binghamton, NY. Such a cute store for year round actually.

I think Montage is good for the area, it offers entertainment options that our area previously didn't have, which in turn makes our region more desirable to someone looking to relocate here. I must admit though that the last time I was up Montage was about three years ago for a concert. I have no desire to drive all the way to Montage to go shopping. I'm not much of a shopper to begin with, and everything I need can be found right here in Wilkes-Barre. I haven't been to The Shoppes at Montage, so I can't comment, but to me it seems out of the way, and off the beaten path. I'd really have to specifically want something that I can only find there in order to make the trip north to get it. That's my two cents!

The Christmas Tree store is da bomb. Many bargains there although I didn't find the wonderful mesquite seasoning the last time and we did walk out empty handed. I still will make other trips up there on occasion as you do find some deals.

Ironically enough the busiest store in that "upscale" lifestyle center is an "upscale" dollar store! Good 'ole NEPA bargain hunters! To be honest I like that store myself.

That's so NEPA! If you wanted to explain our area in a nut shell, that post just did!

Not that there's anything wrong with that. As soon as I outgrow my metrosexual phase of making random road-trips to King of Prussia to buy designer muscle shirts at stores I probably shouldn't be shopping at to showcase muscles I really shouldn't be showcasing, I'll be right there with the bargain hunting NEPA majority!

Nothing wrong with it at all! I'm a proud dollar store shopper myself. There isn't a Dollar Tree, Dollar General, or Family Dollar in the area that I haven't shopped at.
