We'll see how the season goes. We opted to not get our season passes this year and I'm glad that we didn't spend that money. Bad ski seasons are usually back to back so that means that next year should be a good season. It frees up alot more time for me this way though and I'm getting alot of that "Honey Do" list knocked off early.

People could go outside in those temperatures and not die??!!?

We are used to the warm weather and find ourselves saying "its freezing out!" when temps dip way down to the 50's so i think most of our activities will be indoor ones

thanks for the ideas all!

One place to avoid like the plague: Mount Haven near Milford. What a rat trap.

LOL, especially when the buses come in from the city. At least when the buses come into Erhardts - they have their own dining room. It looks like a sea of blue whenever I see them at Mount Haven-

Mount Haven advertises luxury cottages......well, if you consider luxury to be a bathroom with carpeted walls with stains all over them and a heavy mildew smell, as well as a carpenter ant infestation (big black ants crawling EVERYWHERE...up the walls, in the bed, etc), broken furniture, etc, to be luxury, then it sure is luxurious. The place is strange...when you go to check in, there is no real lobby...you have to go to a far corner of the restaurant to a small desk. The food was decent, but that's where my compliments end.

You live here long enough...you get used to it. When it hit 60 here, I saw many people in shorts! I don't even wear a coat if it is over 40. Anything under 20 is kinda cold, and under 10 is definitely cold.

I feel guilty liking snow...my daughter LIVES to snowboard, but hubbie is a truck driver and is stuck driving in it. So, I hope for cooler temps to MAKE snow!

When it was 69 here the other day I was shirtless---forget just the shorts! You're still a greenhorn by PA standards. I don't whine until the mercury drops to 0 or below. Folks in MN and ND probably laugh at us when we shiver at 30 degrees, just like we laugh at folks in Atlanta and Charlotte who wet their pants if they get a half-inch of snow! LOL!

Well Paul...no matter how hot it is (and how much weight I loose...but I digress!) you will NEVER see me with my shirt off.....
OK, I can tolerate 10 degrees no problem, as long as I'm in the car with the heat on!

Mr. Krabs!!! You are a scream!!

Yes, you are right. If you ever meet Andy he complains when the customers call him and complain. I would not lodge there for anything. You mostly get people not from the area falling for the bait. We used to go there for food when we were first building the house for pizza - but haven't returned there in a long time.

Summering......can Mr. Krabs join the writing guild with you and I Love PA.......I think he has talent!!
