Rates in Peckville/Blakely are totally ridiculous I would rather pay borough taxes anyday, my average bill is $225 a month (no electric heat, just a hot tub that runs 12 month's a year) if I were living outside of Blakely it would be $115 a difference of $110, times that by 12 months is $1,320 a year that we arte paying for the luxury of not paying borough taxes. I used to live in Archbald and Borough tax was $400 a year a big cry from the $1,320 I'm paying now. The borough should not be in this business they are so antiquated they still have someone going around reading meters, PP&l does it automatically. I vote to dump the electric company in Blakely and go with people who know what they are doing.
