French Manor
The French Manor in Sterling is the first and last word in NEPA as far as I'm concerned. Food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch. Special mention for Patsel's in Glenburn and Julia's in Old Forge.

maopeka --- WE have good taste. The French Manor is my favorite, Patsel is my
favorite !!!!! Only had cocktails at Julia's, the menu did look great though. We went to the Milestone outside of Clarks Summit and had the worst service at the bar you
can ever imagine, and it wasn't even busy. We waited a good 15 minutes for our
Margaritas, no swizzle stick, no coaster or napkin !! And the bartender was too busy
chatting with another employee to see when our glasses were empty. When we left the
girls in the front were too busy chatting with each other to say thank you, goodnight or
go to h__. Never again !!!

Put me down for Kazimi's on Skyler ave., Kingston. Very good Meditranian/Middle Eastern food. I got to go there after a wedding rehersal with the wedding party. Needless to say I was very impressed, and would highly recommend it. It's very romantic. A great place to take a date.

Oyster just got a new Chef and he's quite good. He plans on changing up the menu and maybe even a restaurant name change if it gets the go.

Ok then, for this way ..........
Stroudsmour Inn ( especially wonderful with out of town friends along)
The Willow Tree........( just the most relaxing place to be outside by the willow and creek)
Nicks Lake House on Lake Harmony...........having lunch and dinner overlooking the lake
just wonderful.
Those are my three favorites down this way.............

I agree Summering Stroudsmoor is delicious, the weekend buffets are fantastic!
Most of my dining experience is eating in the van between kid activities. My friend loves the Stone Bar in Sciota but we have never been there.
We ate at Luna Rossa on 209 in Gilbert/Kresgeville and that was pretty good, the salad dressing was awesome!
I have enjoyed Molly's on Main St. in Stroudsburg years back, the mac and cheese was really good. I should go back w/ the kids but I remember the dining room was a bit crowded.
The best pizza is Tony's in E'burg.
Great icecream at Sweet Creams on Main St. too, food was overpriced though.

Stroudsmour Inn has fantastic cream of veggie soup. The views are breathtaking out on the terrace. We had many dinners there, through the builder's association.
The Stone Bar is a great dining expierence, too. I had never had upscale mozzarella sticks before - and they have some intersting menu choices.
I'd like to try Anthony's Steak House in Tannersville, to check out the wall to wall aquarium. Any one ever go there?
